Upgrading the firmware of In-Sight Explorer cameras can be done from the In-Sight Explorer software, the firmware files are not available separately. If you need to load a specific firmware to an In-Sight Explorer camera, then it requires installing the corresponding In-Sight Explorer software version that contains the firmware you need.
Be aware that the cameras do not support all the firmware versions. Before starting any firmware update on the camera, we recommend the following:
- Check in the In-Sight Explorer Help that which are those firmware versions that your camera supports.
- Create a backup of the camera, containing all the camera settings and job files.
If you know to which firmware version you need to upgrade your camera, then you will need to install the same In-Sight Explorer version, except for firmware 4.10.x versions.
