Reader Discovery Issues - Comm Script

Issue:

Readers are not discoverable by Edge Intelligence

Resolution:

1. If you cannot discover a reader, check the communication script. Look for this area of the code.

   

2. As written in the comments, these should usually not return true. Ensure both of them to false for the default return cases. Here is an explanation of why you are doing this.

3. Click on Communication shown below to enable the changes (they will turn green) then save settings and reboot the reader
