Is there a difference between the mirrors on an In-Sight 1741 and an In-Sight 1721?
Answer
Since the positions of the holes in each mirror are the same, the mirrors can be physically mounted on either unit. However, the dimensions of both mirrors differ, and so the working distance also differs. If you attach an In-Sight 1721 mirror to an In-Sight 1741, external illumination will not work effectively, so it is not recommended to switch them.
