What is supported on ENET0 and ENET1 on the DataMan 380 and DataMan 390?
Answer
ENET0 Supports the following:
- Access Setup Tool
- Send and receive Telnet Messages
- FTP images & results
- Access network hosts and clients
- FFP (Factory floor protocols such as EthernetI/P, Profinet, SLMP, etc.)
- Send MRS messages
- Send PTP messages.
ENET1 Cannot:
- Send MRS messages
- Send PTP messages
To use, enable ENET1 → Disable DHCP → Set Subnet Mask → Set IP → Enable FFP and Set to ENET1 → Save and Reboot.
NOTE: ENET0 and ENET1 must be on separate subnets
