Issue:
The pitch between OCR characters fluctuates in the middle of the text and cannot be read stably.
Probable Causes:
- Text of this style will fail the tool because it does not meet SEMI OCR standard (SEMI OCR standard stipulates in equal-width fonts).
Solution:
- Insert spaces by the Field String item for large character pitches. Note that this will cause the SEMI checksum will fail, so set the Checksum item to Virtual. (See above example)
- If reading fails even after inserting spaces, you may have to alter the OCR tool to only read the part with the same pitch and synthesized the full character string outside of the OCR tool.
In the above example, "1234" and "5678" and "01H1" are read by three separate OCR tools.
