Issue:
The focus is slightly out of focus on the left and right sides of the visual field, and the focus is near the center. Is this a malfunction?
Probable Causes:
Although there are some differences, this is an expected situation, as due to the lensing present the images tends not to be focused at the extreme left and right of the visual field. However in rare cases there are certain lenses whose extremity blur is greater than expected.
Solution:
- First, make sure that the Wafer ID and the wafers are placed in parallel.
- In most cases, the lowered focus does not affect the reading ability. However, for lenses with particularly bad distortion, the unit may require replacement.
