Issue:
If you can open a workspace, but you cannot perform any operations with a tool in the workspace, normal procedure is to right click on the tool and selecting Reset to allow you to continue.
But on occasion the Reset command fails with an "Input Stream Error".
Causes:

Resolution:
Temporarily change the Network Model parameter to a different value and then try the Reset command again.
