How can I uninstall Cognex Add-On Profile?

Answer

1. Use Windows File Explorer and navigate to the directory
   "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockwell Software\RSLogix 5000\Module Profiles\Install\"

2. Hit Shift and right-click with the mouse, then select "Open command window here" or "Open PowerShell window here"

   

3. Type ".\MPSetup /cu" in the Command or PowerShell window then press Enter.

4. A dialogue window will appear, click on "Next", select "Uninstall" and click on "Next" again:

   

5. Find and select the "Cognex 1756 Comm Module Profiles" option.
   PLEASE NOTE: be careful not to unintentionally uninstall any other Rockwell profiles.

   

6. Click on "Next" and finally on "Uninstall".

   

7. The uninstallation process should be completed within a few seconds:
