Question
DataMan HandHeld Reader: How To Avoid Carriage Return (CRLF) in case of NoRead, with Basic Formatting?
Answer
With our DataMan HandHeld readers, when using USB-HID Keyboard:

Without any "Basic Formatting", Carriage Return (CRLF) is only sent for Good Read (no CRLF in case of NoRead).
If a "Basic Formatting" is required, with "Standard Universal", in case of "NoRead", the Carriage Return is automatically sent, which can be an issue for some applications:

If a "Basic Formatting" is required, in case of NoRead, the only way to not receive the Carriage Return, is to select the right symbology ("DataMatrix" for instance), instead of "Universal", as per below:

This way, the Carriage Return will only be sent for Good Read (no CRLF in case of NoRead).
