In-Sight Vision Suite Needs the Correct Adapter Installed for Connecting a Device

Question

My camera device is listed in the Network Devices but the software won't allow it to connect; how do I fix this?

Answer

In-Sight Vision Suite devices can only be connected when the correct version of the adapter is installed. There are two options:

  1. Update the firmware on the device to a version you have installed.
  2. Install the exact version that fits the firmware of the device.

You can double-check which adapters you have installed by opening the “About” dialog from the “?”-Menu at the top of the network list. Please note that firmware versions might differ from their corresponding software version. For example, with the In-Sight ViDi 1.5.0 software you will get firmware version 2.5.0 for the D900.
