Issue:
Readers are on the network and can be pinged, yet Edge Intelligence cannot see them.
Resolution:
Do the following:
- Verify if setup tool can automatically discover the reader. (NOTE: The reader should not have been added manually through the "Add a device" feature of the setup tool.)
- If the camera is not automatically discovered, then the issue is with the reader.
- Reboot the reader. The communication between Edge Intelligence and reader will be restored.
- If it is automatically discovered, then the issue is with the Edge Intelligence.
- Reboot the Edge Intelligence. The communication between Edge Intelligence and reader will be restored.
